FESSCO (Federal Stamp and Seal Manufacturing Company) is a 42 year old family owned business located in Atlanta, Georgia. We operate out of a 35,000 square foot facility which we own. The Bradshaw family purchased FESSCO in 1978 after having thoroughly researched the Company's growth potential as well as its target markets. Our wholesale customers are primarily office supply companies who derive significant profits through the resell of our product line.

FESSCO's impressive customer base includes national accounts such as Office Max, as well as regional entities like the Synovus Financial Institutions and Coca-Cola Enterprises. It is important to note that the office supply industry is extremely demanding in terms of the broad product line we must carry, the service level we must maintain and the extensive product knowledge we must provide. Furthermore, we must utilize every available technology in order to minimize our costs while adhering to a strict production schedule that provides 24 hour turnaround on most products and 48 hour turnaround on others.

Our family's desire to offer customers the highest quality products in the industry was realized in 2001 when FESSCO was awarded the opportunity to become a manufacturing partner of Shachihata's Xstamper line of products. In the world of stamps, there are three basic kinds of stamps to choose from. The choices are Rubber Stamps, Self-Inking Stamps, and Pre-Inked Stamps. Regular rubber stamps are basic stamps that are used in conjunction with a stamp pad. Traditionally they have wooden handles and are quick to get and inexpensive to buy. They can be messy if not handled properly, and require the use of a stamp pad.

Self-inking stamps are mechanical stampers which have their own internal stamp pad. A swivel action causes the stamp die to hit the internal stamp pad between each use. In layman's terms, a self-inking stamp is basically a regular stamp and a stamp pad all in one box. Self-inkers are great for multiple stamping, are re-inkable, and reasonably priced. You may know these stamps by the brand names Ideal, Trodat, Cosco 2000 Plus, or Xstamper ClassiX.

Pre-inked stamps are stamps whose impression dies are saturated with ink. These stamps do not use either an internal or external stamp pad. These stamps are durable, long-lasting, clean, easy to re-ink, and of the highest quality. There are three types of pre-inked stamps. Polymer gel pre-inks such as Royal Mark, the latest in technology flash stamps such as the Cosco AccuStamp, and the laser engraved vulcanized rubber stamps such as the industry-leading Xstamper brand.
